ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Jessica — a Denver-based photographer and videographer capturing moments that matter, in Colorado or wherever your story takes us. Originally from Ohio, I’m a proud cat mom, a lover of music and Jesus, and a queer creative dedicated to making everyone feel seen, celebrated, and comfortable in front of the camera.
At Jess Nelson Media, I specialize in live music photography, but my lens extends to a variety of moments — including events, portraits, weddings, and travel. My goal is to create intentional, beautiful visuals that convey the essence of each moment. Whether you're planning a concert, a wedding, or a personal portrait session, I'm here to bring your vision to life.
My approach is bubbly, fun-loving, and energetic during shoots, ensuring a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. Yet, I also cherish my introverted time at home, which allows me to recharge and bring a thoughtful, grounded perspective to my work. I strive to make every photo and video unique, creating something that stands apart from the rest — putting my own spin on every project to ensure your moments are captured in a way that’s fresh, authentic, and uniquely you.

As the founder of Post Concert Depression (PCD), I explore the emotional journey of live music experiences, blending music coverage with mental health awareness. Through PCD, I aim to provide a space for fans to reflect on how music impacts their emotional world.

If you're looking for a photographer/videographer who values authenticity, inclusivity, and intentional storytelling, let's connect and create something beautiful together.
